Win The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks

So, I'm having another contest (one day before the Evermore contest ends-which in case you didn't know is tomorrow!!)

You can win a hardcover copy of The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks by E. Lockhart

if you answer this question (in comment form, of course):

What is the one thing you wish you would have done in school but you didn't? Put tacks on a teacher's chair? Toilet paper the school?

I can't wait to hear your answers! (I'm feeling slightly malicious, if you couldn't tell!)

+1 if you follow me
+2 if you're already following me
+2 if you post about this somewhere
+3 if you add me to your blogroll

Contest ends July 31st!

Good luck!

Hm... I wished I could've burned all the textbooks for the courses I failed in. That would have been a huge relief for me!

I'm a long-time follower and have you on blogroll! And I have also linked the contest to the sidebar of my blog! www.orientaldesires.blogspot.com

I'm still in school but I think it would be fun to play a prank on a rival school - like steal the mascot or teepee their locker rooms.

Hmm, I think the only thing I wish I would have done in H.S. is be a little more outgoing. I was so shy and I'm sure I missed so many chances because of it.

I wish I could've gotten into more trouble, mostly just get into fist fights, or really the best thing would be to pull a fire alarm, childish, but no one REALLY gets hurt... so it's still fun!

Well I'm still in school -I'll be a sophomore this year- but one thing I wished I would've done differently last year was not worry too much about sports, when I should've been more worried about my Geometry Honors grade!

I'm still in school but I'd like to do a senior prank. One year our seniors filled the courtyard with sand overnight and brought beach chairs and swimsuits and spent the whole day hanging at the "beach". Another year, they realeased 3 pigs in the school, but painted 1,3, and 4 on them so administrators would spend all day looking 4 number 2. Anyway, I hope I think of a great senior prank or participat in one.

I went to a private school and I wish that I had cared less about the uniform. we always had to tuck in our shirts, not wear nail polish, wear longsocks. I always wore athletic socks, but I wish that I had boldly flaunted breaking the rules by wearing makeup and nail polish and shortening my skirt.
Im still in school and although the dress code is more relaxed, we have to dress nice, dress slacks, not jeans. or you can wear a skirt. Some girls wear jeans and I wish that I had worn jeans last year, just to see if I could get away with it.

I pretty much did all the things I wanted to do (I'm not into vandalism or anything and never have been but I skipped class, used the "period" excuse to get out of class, snuck out of class to buy candy that I smuggled back in, said "holy cow" to offend one of our Indian teachers). This is going to sound really geeky but I always look back and wish I'd actually studied to see what I was really capable of...

I have been wanting to read this book. I would love to win it. The only thing that I regret not doing in high school was that I didn't take shorthand. The worst thing I ever did was skip classes.
Thanks for the chance.

Ooh I wish I could have burned the horrible books that we were forced to read for a class and I wish I could have done it right in front of the teacher.

Alex: If I could do one thing in school... Hmmm. We'll, I'm still in school, so I guess anything's still possible if I have the guts for it. Maybe just have some more fun with it. Loosen up, give the bird to people I dislike (XD I would never actually...), be more outgoing and friendly.

What is the one thing you wish you would have done in school but you didn't?

Hmm... Hard question. Well, the one thing I wish I did was leave sooner. I left high school in the middle of my jr year, but I wish I left at the end of my sophomore year. Overall, I don't have any other regrets about high school. I never really cared about pranks like those, although I did prank a few of my friends.
